Comet Dust Technology Terms of Service

Welcome to Docmark software and services provided by Comet Dust Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Comet Dust Technology" or "we"). This Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") applies to the Docmark software (hereinafter referred to as "the Software") and related services provided by Comet Dust Technology.

【SPECIAL NOTE】Docmark is a completely offline document management application specifically designed for credential document management and organization. Before using this Software, please carefully read and fully understand this Agreement. Your use of this Software or related services indicates that you have read and agreed to all terms of this Agreement.

I. Service Content

(A) Basic Services

The Software provides the following basic functions: 1. Document Management: Support for importing, categorizing, and tag-managing various credential documents 2. Image Processing: Support for importing credential images, performing basic editing, and adding watermarks 3. Data Storage: Support for local storage and optional iCloud synchronization

(B) Service Modes

  1. Offline Mode: The Software operates in a completely offline manner by default, with all data stored locally on your device
  2. iCloud Synchronization (Optional): If you choose to enable it, you can synchronize data across your multiple devices through Apple's iCloud service

II. User Rights and Obligations

(A) User Rights

  1. You have the right to use all functions provided by the Software subject to compliance with this Agreement
  2. You have complete control over all data stored in the Software
  3. You may delete any data stored in the Software at any time
  4. You are free to choose whether to enable the iCloud synchronization feature

(B) User Obligations

  1. You shall comply with relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China
  2. You shall properly safeguard the security of your device and Apple ID account
  3. If you choose to enable iCloud synchronization, you need to bear the related iCloud storage costs (if any)
  4. You shall be responsible for the content you upload and store

III. Intellectual Property

  1. The copyright, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights of the Software and related services belong to Comet Dust Technology
  2. Without written permission from Comet Dust Technology, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or modify the Software in any form
  3. The intellectual property rights of content uploaded and stored by you through the Software belong to you or the original rights holder

IV. Disclaimer

  1. You understand and agree that the Software is provided "as is," and we make no express or implied warranties regarding the applicability, reliability, accuracy, etc. of the Software
  2. Given the special nature of the Software, we are not responsible for service interruptions or data loss caused by network, device, system, or other reasons
  3. If you choose to enable the iCloud synchronization feature, the security of related data synchronization and storage is guaranteed by Apple's iCloud service, and we are not responsible for data issues caused by iCloud service failures

V. Service Changes, Interruptions, or Termination

  1. We reserve the right to change, interrupt, or terminate the Software service at any time
  2. If subsequent versions of the Software no longer support certain features, we will announce this in advance within the App
  3. When necessary, we may release software updates to fix security vulnerabilities or improve user experience, and we recommend that you update to the latest version promptly

VI. Privacy Protection

We highly value your privacy protection. For information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please refer to the "Comet Dust Technology Privacy Policy."

VII. Other Terms

  1. The establishment, execution, interpretation of this Agreement, and the resolution of disputes shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China
  2. If any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain valid
  3. The headings in this Agreement are for convenience of reading only and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of the terms of this Agreement

VIII. Agreement Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement when necessary. Modifications to this Agreement will be notified to you through announcements within the App. The modified agreement, once published, replaces the original agreement, and continued use of the Software will be deemed as your acceptance of the modified agreement.
